Fixer in Vietnam – Yao Dau Mang Tribe People in Lai Chau
Dao Dau Mang or Yao Dau Mang is a group of mountain tribe who live on the mountain top in Lai Chau Province. As a Film Fixer in Vietnam, I helped my customers to explore and film this colorful mountain tribe in Lai Chau a few days ago.
Their costumes are different than Red Dao mountain tribe who located in Sapa. This group has their own traditional dress and beautiful hair style and accessories. This Dao people has the same living habit as the Red Dao that they like to live on mountain top.
But this mountain tribe group only lives around Lai Chau Province and in remote mountain areas.
they still live in traditional muddy house and keep the tradition and language.
